So this week I have my rostered week off for winter. Usually this means if you want a different week instead you have to hunt round for anyone who has the week you want and try to persuade them to swap. Great. I didn't try it. The other problem is trying to fill that week with interesting things to do and no money until it's nearly over.

(Un)reality TV

So what is it about these so-called reality TV shows that the producers think I'm going to race out and buy every piece of crap they are hawking and give up every second of my free time. And I'm sick of seeing that Cheryl Cole at every turn. By the way, Stop miming when you have to critique live performances, it's not big, clever or credible.

The only good reality TV is Street Crime UK, as that way you get to see chavs getting nicked for being twats and take the piss.

The first post

Hello. For those of you who have deigned to read this, you have my sympathy. Since my last blog on here, which I will not reveal the title of, My world view has turned from one of general musings to one of outright indignation and cynicism. What caused this? I don't know but I plan to write it all down on here and if you agree with me then that's great but if you don't, then that's just too bad. I will update it as and when and generally say what is on my mind at the time. Hopefully if I feel better getting something off my chest so much the better. There may be the odd humorous post now and then too...
